I think creativity is what will change the world.
I like reading a lot of philosophy as I feel it frees my mind. One of my favorite books is "Creativity - discovering your inner forces" by Osho.
I was marked by two sentences: "Creativity is the greatest rebellion in existence" and "Every small act can be creative".
"Every small act can be creative" - at first my mind was shocked, how can a small act be creative? Creativity can only be seen in great pieces of art... But still something in me felt there was some truth in that. It took me a lot of years to really understand the meaning, a lot of time struggling to understand the meaning of creativity and exercising it. My first creative rebellion was Selfish Delights - which helped me explore the art of cooking, the art of building a brand and trying to build a business. My greatest gain from this project I believe it was meeting amazing, creative people which made me understand even more what creativity is all about. Still, my greatest artistic endeavor has been writing. I have this burning in me to inspire people and I believe writing is the best way to touch a person's soul and inspire. Of course, there are also other artistic ways to inspire, but writing has been until now closest to my soul. So one year and a few months ago my greatest rebellion took place: opening this blog which is all about creativity and bringing creativity in everything we do.
I believe art is medicine for the soul and every creative act is art for me, as it captures a feeling, an emotion, a moment in life.
We should learn to live our life as creatively as possible until creativity becomes a way of living, a state of mind we are always in.
To be creative means to free your mind, to empty yourself and from that place to access pure feelings, thoughts and emotions with which to start creating.
By using creativity as a way of living, we can overcome most of the problems that exist currently in the world. There is a catch however, true creativity should not be used only for economical purposes. True creativity should be used to make a world a better place, to bring happiness, good feelings and to heal and ease our mind.
Creativity should be with us from the moment we wake up, during the moments we start preparing for our day, while we eat and in every activity we do, our work, our interactions, our quite moments just with ourselves.
That is not a very easy thing to do, but we should always try to exercise our creativity until we get there.
Recently this is what I did: started to go again to dance classes, started to take painting lessons and of course cooking, writing and soon I will start also doing some crafting which I will tell you all about in a next article.

All of these activities have really helped me exercise creativity in every area of my life - by always trying to bring a good feeling in everything I do - being house chores, work activities or just grocery shopping.
So take dance classes, try some painting, re-decorate your house or try to write your thoughts in a journal. Try anything that empties your mind, while at the same time requires you to act in some way.
And now I will leave you with 18 quotes by Osho from "Creativity - discovering your inner forces":
1. Creativity is the greatest rebellion in existence.
2. Creativity is the perfume of individual freedom.
3. Creativity means to give in to a power that is not yours, to give in to something that is beyond you. Meditation is creativity.
4. You don't need to become a Picasso or a Shakespeare. You just need to be creative in your own way.
5. Receptive, sensible people are people with imagination.
6. When you become very receptive, you re-become a child.
7. Whatever you do, if you do it with joy, if you do it with love, and not because of economical reasons, your activity is creative.
8. Every human being is born creative.
9. The creative act gives beauty to the world, it gives something, it does not take away.
10. Work needs to be important, it must be a joy in itself.
11. A creative person tries to always do things differently, in his own way.
12. Only the ones that are ready to risk their prestige, their pride, their respectability and that are ready to do something that nobody believes it's worth it, are really creative people.
13. Creativity is not linked to a specific activity. Creativity depends on the quality of your consciousness.
14. Creativity means to not do something as a burden, as an obligation that needs to be fulfilled. Even cleaning the floor can be creative. Painting is as ordinary as cleaning the floor. Every small act can be creative. Bring creativity in everything you do.
15. Creativity is a by-product of dreaming.
16. A creative person has intuition, they see things that nobody else sees, hear things that nobody else hears.
17. True creativity is not born from memories, but from consciousness. You need to become more conscious.
18. Don't let your life become a dead ritual. Let it exist inexplicable moments, a few mysterious things that cannot be rationally explained.
