Winter's dance

Snowflakes sit and flow by the closed window,

Dancing and falling in the wind's blow,

Dressing houses, people, trees in white,

People that in their winter clothes look might.

The heart warms when sees the inocent white,

While the winter wind blows so might,

It announces the glacial winter's arrival

When outside is hard to travel.

Only those with cold blood and health strong

Sit outside all day, in the big snow lasting long.

Those who fear the cold, stay warm inside,

Looking at the mighty white and snowflakes that fall outside.

In the end, the winter snow makes all children go outside

In the winter wonderland, they make snowmen and snowballs,

The winter queen gladly looks at them from her mighty halls,

Thinking of a plan for the next snowfall to befall outside.

The winter is a fairy land, full of laughter and joy,

It's nature is like a bride full of joy,

Inviting everyone to dance or play,

Small, by small, everyone joins the winter dance and play.

La fereastră stă și pică câte-un fulg

Pic, pic și lin, în vânt fulgi curg,

Îmbracă case, oameni, pomi în alb,

Si eu pășesc prin zăpadă, de frig rabd.

Se încălzește inimioara când vede albul inocent,

Dar tare bate vântul iernii, un înalt bocet,

Anunțând venirea iernii prea mărețe

Când ieșirile pe-afară sunt răzlețe.

Numai cei cu sânge rece și sănătate tare

Pe afară stau tot timpul în zăpadă mare,

Cei ce au rău de frig, stau în casă la căldură

Și privesc albul măreț și fulgii cum cad pe șură.

În final zăpada iernii scoate toți copiii afară,

În zăpada minunată, ei fac bulgări și oameni de zăpadă,

Bucuroasă crăiasa iernii senină îi privește

Și la următoarea ninsoare se gândește.

Iarna-i un tărâm de basm, misterios și plin de haz,

Natura ei pare o mireasă plină de extaz

Ce invită toată lumea ori la joacă ori la dans.

Ușor, ușor, toți se prind în jocul iernii în pas de dans.
