There are many diet systems/rules. This article will not be about yet another such system/rules but more about general rules that can be applied no matter what diet you choose.
No human being is the same as another, we are all different and each body functions slightly different. What specifically works for me might not work for you and what works for you might not work for me exactly the same. It is very important to understand how your own body operates, to understand its signals and to know how to listen to these signals.
Make sure to know the important nutrients and recognize what kind of nutrients you have on your plate. My advice is to not combine more than two nutrient classes in one meal. Be a nonstop observer of your body and how your body feels/reacts after each meal. Learn to observe profoundly each chemical reaction.
There are some common sense rules that apply to all diet systems and I will discuss mostly about the ones that help to boost the immune system in this article.
Stay hydrated
Make sure to drink at least 2l of water every day. Also pay attention to the kind of water you drink.
Whatever the water source, I recommend using copper vessels to store and drink the water. Copper is proved to have lots of beneficial effects, destroying bacteria, viruses and purifying the water. People that use copper vessels show a significant increase in their immune system.
Meal time is sacred
Don't overtalk when you eat, better to not talk at all. Make sure to leave all thoughts, emotions to after you finish eating. While you eat, just be grateful and happy and enjoy the food. Learn to concentrate on your body reactions and your taste senses.
Doctor apple
Eat at least 1 fruit per day, but never in the evening. Try to eat fruits in the morning or before lunch or dinner, never as dinner or after dinner.
Herbal Help
Make tea and herbs be your friends. I recommend always having at home the following:
Echinacea Tea
Garlic
Onion (which can be used as a tea as well)
Turmeric
Ginger
Add these in tea or as herbs in your food. They are known to treat colds, inflammations and help boost the immune system.
There are many other tasty herbs that have different beneficial effects. Make a list with the ones you love the most and make sure to always have them in your home.
Doctor Bee
Honey and propolis are bees natural products that you need to also make sure you always have these at home. They are antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and anti-inflammatory.
Another advice I must give at the end is to try to lower the meat in-take, no matter what diet you choose to follow. Replace meat with fish or the vegetarian soya substitute. If this is very hard, try to have at least 2-3 vegetarian diet days per week.
Keep in mind these very simple tips, integrate a detox plan (see Day 17) and make sure to also include Himalayan Pink Salt (see Day 16) as well as taking into account all the other advices and practices from the previous days and you will soon start the healthiest period of your life.
Make all these be a daily life style!
