Humans are social beings, they leave in packs/tribes as they say. It has been so since forever.

Even when a human being goes in isolation/seclusion, in order to stay healthy and sane he develops a way to connect, to create collectivity, being some animals he starts to grow tides with or simply a rock with a hat who becomes his best friend.

Developing connections is a very important factor for your health.

It is a known fact that old people who live alone and don’t have healthy family/community/pets to keep them connected, have less chances of reaching longevity than the ones living in environments filled with goodness, joy, happy moments.

The same goes for young people and even for children. Stressful, sick communities make people have medical issues.

We can even see the importance of a healthy community confirmed by the term ‘HERD IMMUNITY’, which basically means having a high percentage of healthy, immune people in a community helps to keep healthy also the ones more prone to risk and health problems.

A community built on trust, acceptance and confidence sustains even weaker individuals and helps them to grow and improve.

To protect yourself and improve your immunity, make sure to be surrounded mostly by healthy people, with healthy mindsets, good vibes, positive, filled with kindness, compassion and sustenance.

Make sure to reflect same good aspects or help transform the negative ones by being supportive, constructive, make time to listen when someone really needs it, show you are there and you care, however – remember – offer advice only when you are asked and even there be very helpful and try to help the other find his/her answers and not offer him/her the answer you see. Make time to check up on your friends, to send a positive message or a beautiful wish, without expectations, just be and give, accept, hold, release, transform. Offer and sustain the weaker groups in a constructive, supporting manner.

Build a beautiful, positive tribe and help grow/transform other tribes as well.

It’s harder at this moment to meet collectively, but the connection still remains from far away - and this is a big lesson right now.

There are many tribes we are a part of - everyone has a work environment tribe, close friends tribe, our hobby and interests related tribes and of course the family tribe.

For the practice today, review each of the tribes you belong to by following these steps:

  1. Write down each tribe you find yourself belonging.

  2. For each of the tribes identified, write the name of the members belonging in it.

  3. Then, for each tribe start writing positive aspects and negative aspects.

  4. Evaluate the overall health state of each tribe.

  5. Evaluate how each tribe helps/drains you.

  6. Evaluate what you can do to help the tribe grow, be healthier, more positive. If there is nothing you can do, it’s ok, just keep in mind to reduce the influence of that tribe on you and have positive energy flowing from other directions.

The only way to make peace is to be peace, the only way to have health is to choose health.

Be healthy! Choose a healthy tribe, sustain your healthy tribe!
